A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Bodmin. One man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident in Roseland Road on Saturday, January 18.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the scene at around 5.05pm to reports a man had sustained stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening, a spokesperson said.
A 31-year-old man from Bodmin was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has since been released on police bail. Police believe the victim and the suspect are known to each other and there is no wider risk to member of the public.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 5.05pm on Saturday 18 January following reports of a man having sustained stab wounds on Roseland Road in Bodmin.
"The victim was taken to hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening. A 31-year-old man from Bodmin was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been released on police bail.
"Both the victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other and there is no wider threat to the public following this incident."
