Three masked men smashed their way into a petrol station in Cornwall during the early hours of this morning, Monday, January 20. It is thought the three men forced open the metal shutters of a petrol station and smashed a window before taking thousands of pounds worth of items.
Three people, wearing head and face coverings and carrying a large white bag, broke in to Texaco garage on Southbourne Road. They searched the premises before escaping with several thousands of pounds worth of tobacco, cigarettes and vape fluid. A small amount of cash was also stolen, police have said.
The three masked men fled the scene, running past a Domino’s store on Southbourne Road. Residents are being asked to check doorbell cameras for any footage which may have captured the three men in the area.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage to come forward. Anyone who has information which may assist police in their investigation is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 50250015193.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are appealing for residents to check their doorbell and CCTV footage after burglars targeted a petrol station in St Austell in the early hours of this morning, 20 January.
"Offenders forced the metal shutters and smashed a window just before 3.40am to break into Texaco garage on Southbourne Road. They carried out an untidy search of the premises before escaping with several thousands of pounds worth of tobacco, cigarettes and vape fluid. A small amount of cash was also stolen.
"Three men then fled the scene, running past Domino’s on Southbourne Road. Police are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
"They are specifically calling on residents to check their CCTV and doorbell cameras for any footage which may have captured the suspects in the area.
"All three suspects were wearing head and face coverings. They had a large white bag with them."
