Drama escalated on The Traitors this week with increasing suspense among the remaining players. Having ousted two traitors masquerading as faithfuls, the group was on a mission to unmask yet another deceitful participant.
In the gripping Friday night episode, suspicion centred around Frankie and Leon, with the latter eventually receiving the majority vote and facing banishment from the game.
The mood turned sombre as Leon, leaving the show, disclosed his true allegiance as a faithful, much to the group's dismay. He discussed this twist during an appearance on BBC Breakfast with presenters Ben Thompson and Luxmy Gopal.
During the chat, the BBC presenters showed a segment of Leon's ousting, as Luxmy asked how he was feeling. He responded: "Watching that back, it's a bit heartbreaking. Bittersweet, you know what I mean?"

Leon opened up about his determination to play honestly, stating: "I know how hard I tried to make sure that I was doing the right thing for the guys, for my team, for the faithful, and it just wasn't meant to be."
Reflecting on the gameplay, he mentioned the struggle in pinpointing a traitor with very little evidence, confessing: "You're clutching at straws, basically."
Following Leon's controversial departure, viewers quickly vented their dismay on Twitter, signalling widespread dissatisfaction with the outcome, reports Wales Online.

One person vented their frustration: "NOOOOOOOO, NOT LEON being banished. Argh I'm p****d. I really wanted him to get to the final and potentially win. But still rooting for Minah my girl!"
Another compassionate viewer commented: "Aw I feel so sorry for Leon, when he realised Freddie was feeling attacked and isolated because of the clique he made an effort to make sure he was okay and now he's out."
Sympathetic sentiments continued with one person saying: "Aww, Leon!" Another viewer added: "Poor Leon is going to get blindsided."

Following Leon's banishment, host Claudia Winkleman revealed the group would be treated to a dinner party.
Gathered at the table, the remaining contestants took turns sharing their intentions for the prize money, should they win. However, once dinner concluded, Minah and Charlotte converged once more to deliberate on the next victim.
They decided against recruiting an additional traitor and narrowed down their next target to either Jake, Leanne, or Joe.
The Traitors continues Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One from 9pm. BBC Breakfast continues weekdays on BBC One from 6am.
